DermFrac – Miro-needling with Deep Tissue Infusion
DermaFrac is an exciting new treatment combining micro-needling and deep tissue serum infusion. DermaFrac uses a roller which contains 180 super fine needles to stimulate collagen production and cell renewal, helping to plump, firm and smooth the skin. As the roller creates micro-channels in the skin, the DermaFrac system simultaneously enables the infusion of a potent serum to boost the impact of the needling treatment.
DermaFrac treatment targets:
- Ageing skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Brown spots and pigmentation
- Open pores and congested skin
- Acne scarring
Combination therapy: Crystal-free Microdermabrasion, Inusion and LED Light Therapy
One of the unique aspects of the DermaFrac micro-needling system is the benefit of its combination therapy capabilities. To begin the treatment, before the micro-needling, you can choose to perform a crystal free microdermabrasion procedure.
Crystal-free microdermabrasion enhances the skin’s response before performing the micro-needling and simultaneous infusion. The infusion serum is able to penetrate instantly and effectively.
The final part of the DermaFrac treatment is an optional LED light therapy session. The light therapy promotes collagen stimulation, suppresses inflammation and reduces irritation.
How DermaFrac Works
A precision-controlled micro-needle hand piece, containing the inusion serum, rolls across the skin under vacuum.
The vacuum pulls the skin into contact with the micro-needles that gently penetrate through the different layers of the skin.
The vacuum places the skin under tension so the needles can penetrate evenly and maximise the delivey of the active infusion serum.
The micro-channels created by the super fine needles create pathways for introducing the infusion serum into the area of the skin that is is most important for the natural rejuvenating process.
The depth of the needles has been carefully selected so that the channels are the optimum depth to provide maximum result.
The specialist deep-tissue serum infusions can target your anti-ageing, pigmentation and acne concerns.
Number of treatments
As with all non-invasive skin treatments the DermaFrac treatment needs to be administered in a routine manner. Better results will be seen if the treatment is performed every two weeks for a series of six treatments. Once a full treatment course has been completed it is recommended that a maintenance progam be implemented, these treatments should be performed every one or two months.
Treatable skin conditions
Microdermabrasion has been clinically proven to significantly reduce the appearance of:
- Wrinkles
- Fine lines
- Acne
- Acne scars
- Stretch marks
- Age/sun spots
- Enlarged pores
- Clogged pores
- Flaking & dry skin
- Uneven pigmentation
LED therapy
The DermaFrac treatment may include a LED therapy treatment. The LEDs that are a part of the DermaFrac system will provide cool and comfortable treatments due to the CoolBreeze air flow. The energy emitted from the DermaFrac LED means that the treatment times are shorter than other LED therapies. The DermaFrac treatment may include one or more LED therapy sessions depending on the skin condition being treated. There are three LEDs for different indications. They are:
- Red – Reduces inflammation and redness post treatment
- Yellow – Stimulates collagen
- Blue – Acne, helps to reduce the instances of acne breakouts
A DermaFrac LED treatment will take approximately 3-6 minutes. There are no side effects or any discomfort associated with the therapy.
